About Us
The Gas Centre Ltd provides specialist gas fireplace services and is owned and operated by John and Sandra Hansen. John, a Certified Plumber/Gasfitter with over 30 years experience, advises, quotes and installs gas fireplaces and appliances, whilst Sandra runs the showroom. Due to the specialist nature of the fireplace business, and having installed a large and diverse number of fireplaces, they have a wealth of knowledge, experience and ideas. Together, they will find the right fireplace to suit your home.
We work with the Regional Council to ensure customers obtain the loan or grants available under the Clean Heating Programme.

About the showroom
The Gas Centre showroom is fitted out with a range of gas fires and fireplaces that are all currently available. All of the fireplaces are working, which allows customers to see how the fireplaces run, the different types of fuel beds and frames that are available, as well as experience the heat output from the various models of fireplace. Like test driving a car, it is important to see for yourself exactly what you are purchasing.
Sandra is available to offer friendly helpful assistance with choosing a fireplace suitable for your requirements. Customers are welcome to bring in building plans and if required, can book an appointment with John to discuss any installation issues.
Having worked with all these companies for many years, John has the technical knowledge and support to service and maintain the products. All of these companies are backed by well-established firms whose products have reliable warranty back-up, an important feature when choosing a fireplace.
